You believe that everyone’s basic Human Rights should be respected, protected and defended; you want to be involved in the movement that is going to mainstream Human Rights education, awareness & action; and you support Idealists United’s work. So what can you do? There are tons of ways to get active, get involved and take action.
The simplest thing you can do is join our activist community and sign up for our newsletter. Go to Idealists Connect and create a profile. Once you are a member you can connect with other idealists and even submit blog posts to be featured on Idealists United’s website. And be sure send us your email to sign up for our newsletter. Check out our Training Center for various resources on activism, organizing, advocacy and more. If you want to create a coalition of activists on your campus or in your community maybe you should Start an IU Chapter. Already involved with an organization on your campus? No problem you can still incorporate IU programs into your work. If you are looking for a way to maximize your involvement with Idealists United maybe you should consider joining our staff. We are constantly looking for more people to help us with our work. If you want to get involved with Idealists United but there isn’t an opening listed, email us maybe we can find something for you.
